Preamble

Meet My Medium is a card-reading application (Tarot de Marseille and Petit Lenormand) and birth chart application, offered for the purposes of entertainment, personal reflection and personal development.

By using the application, you fully and unreservedly accept these Terms of Use.

1. Access to the application

The application is reserved for adults (aged 18 and over).

The card of the day is available free of charge, without creating an account.

The weekly and monthly readings, the reading journal and the birth chart require an account, created with a valid e-mail address.

2. Nature of the service

The card readings and the birth chart offered by Meet My Medium are entertainment and personal-reflection content, based on the traditional symbolism of the cards and on the actual astronomical positions on the date of birth.

They do not constitute predictions and under no circumstances replace medical, psychological, legal or financial advice or care.

No result is guaranteed. You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make. Never make an important decision on the sole basis of a reading.

3. Readings written with the help of artificial intelligence

Each card of the Tarot de Marseille and the Petit Lenormand carries a symbolism established over centuries, the same symbolism studied by card readers. The readings for the weekly and monthly spreads are composed from these meanings, the position of each card in the spread, the connections between them and the theme you have chosen.

An artificial intelligence assembles this reading so that it flows naturally and is specific to your spread. The only information used for this purpose is your cards, your theme and, where applicable, the question you have entered. No personal data (name, e-mail, identifier) is transmitted to the artificial intelligence service.

You can report any text you consider inappropriate from within the application. If the service is unavailable, a reading based on the same symbolic rules is offered instead.

4. One reading per day and per theme

In order to preserve the reflective nature of the practice and to prevent compulsive use, the application allows only one reading per day for each combination of deck, format and theme. A reading already carried out during the day is simply displayed again. This limit is an integral part of the service and cannot give rise to any claim.

If you feel an excessive need to consult the cards, we encourage you to speak to a healthcare professional.

5. In-app purchases and subscription

The card of the day is free. Certain features (weekly and monthly readings, full birth chart) may be offered as in-app purchases, either individually or by subscription.

• The applicable prices are those displayed in the application at the time of purchase, in the currency of your app store.
• Payments are processed exclusively by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Meet My Medium has no access to any banking data.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, from the settings of your App Store or Google Play account.
• Refund requests are subject to Apple's and Google's terms.
• In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose performance has begun with your consent.

6. Personal data (GDPR)

Meet My Medium collects the minimum data necessary for the operation of the service.

• The card of the day, the reading journal and your birth data are stored only on your device.
• An account records your e-mail address and your username.
• No data is sold or transferred to third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

In accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection. You can delete your account at any time from the application settings; deletion is immediate.

7. Acceptable use

It is prohibited:

• to circumvent the technical limits of the application (reading limit, purchases, security);
• to reproduce, extract or reuse the illustrations, texts and readings on a large scale;
• to enter into the application any content that is unlawful, abusive or harmful to third parties;
• to present the readings as medical, legal or financial advice.

Any breach may result in the suspension or deletion of the account without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The "Meet My Medium" trade mark, the logo, the card illustrations, the texts, the readings and the features are protected by intellectual property law.

Sharing an image of a spread via the built-in share feature is permitted for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, in whole or in part, is prohibited without written authorisation.

9. Availability and changes

Meet My Medium endeavours to provide continuous access to the application, without any guarantee that it will be free from interruption. Features, content and prices may change. Features already paid for remain accessible for the period concerned.

10. Changes to the Terms of Use

These Terms of Use may be updated at any time. Any significant change may be the subject of a notification or a request for acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution must be sought before any legal proceedings.

12. Acceptance

By using the application or creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted all of these terms.
